I first got the bug for traveling back in 1969 and since then I have had some very good vacations, seeing some beautiful places around the world. I have taken over 5000 photographs on my travels and through this web site I hope to share some of them with you, not only my images but little pieces of info that I have picked up. I call my vacation photographs a pictorial journal of my travels. |
I have traveled to many countries but the one's I keep going back to is the U.S.A. and Canada. I use an excellent tour operator Mainstreet USA whom I have been using to arrange all my travel arrangements over the last 21 years. I am more like friend rather than client, when I start organizing my vacation Dave Eddleston and his staff always give me the V.I.P. treatment I have traveled to every state in the U.S.A., between 1977 and 2004, completing this last July, and I have over 3000 images of America and Canada. I have also spent two weeks in Russia visiting some Wonderful places. And also spent three weeks camping all over Egypt in the deserts, I must say this was one of the most fascinating vacations I have ever had, seeing everything I believe Egypt has to offer, it's like going back in time. I have also spent three weeks camping around Europe as well as taking individual vacations around the hot spots of Europe. I am now in the process of planning my January 2006 vacation to Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, with my two friends Scona and the Chink. Dave Eddleston from Mainstreet USA is organizing all this for us, we are doing alot of research on the web, using "Virtual Tourist" for first hand tips. So through my Web Site I hope to show you my Images I have taken from these wonderful places in the USA and Canada, and share some tips on how to get the most out of your vacation on good,Hotel/Motel deals, Flights, Car Hire and Route Planning. So if you bear with me over the coming months I will be adding more information and images, to my easy to navigate site.
