My name is John McNally ( John Mac ). I am 53 years of age.

My interests are World Travel, having traveled over the last 30 years on Vacation to Spain, Greece, Turkey, Russia, Egypt, and the United States of America. (Hawaii), Canada and all over The European Countries where I have met some very nice friendly people on my travels. This combined with my passion of photography is well linked together with some of the beautiful photographs and funny photographs I have taken over the years on my travels. My more serious photographs are of Portraiture and Weddings.

As I have always been interested in Photography, in 1995 I enrolled at Newcastle College Of Art And Design, and over a period of four years I got my City and Guilds in Photography, and then went on to do my HNC in Photography and also achieved this.

I am now studying City and Guilds in Web Design Level 3, having achieved my Level 2 grade in 2001, at
Gateshead College and I am hoping to go onto study for more qualifications in Web Design in the near future.

I have enjoyed over the years keeping myself fit by regular visits to the gym, I have done about four Great North Runs (Half Marathons), my first was in 1982 achieving a personal best time of 1Hour 18 Minutes. I still find time to jog occasionally, this I feel helps me to keep fit.

I have been working in manufacturing for "Dunlop" for the last 32 years, but due to ill health I had to take medical retirement in September 2002 from my heavy engineering job, so I could retrain for a new career in administration.
